Foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) is the prototypic member of the genus Aphthovirus. There are seven FMDV serotypes: A, O, C, SAT 1, SAT 2, SAT 3 and Asia 1, and four non-FMDV serotypes belonging to three additional species Bovine rhinitis A virus (BRAV), Bovine rhinitis B virus (BRBV) and Equine rhinitis A virus (ERAV).
1) Binding Rate formula: (Sample O.D.÷Negative O.D.)×100%;
2) Total antibody Negative: Binding rate is＞70%, the immunization is unqualified.
3) Total antibody Positive: Binding rate is≤70%, the immunization is qualified.
4) Total antibody Positive: Binding rate is≤50%, the immunization is qualified and the source animals are under antibody protection
1) Sensitivity: 100%
2) Specificity: there is no cross-reaction with other substances in the samples.
3) Security: Pre-coated antigen, HRP-conjugated antibodies and controls only have immunogenicity, non-microorganism toxicity and infectivity.
4) Intra-assay: CV＜10% (n=3).
5) Inter- assay: CV＜15% (n=9).
6) The experimental results should meet the following condition. Should any of these criteria not be fulfilled, the test is invalid and the assay should be repeated: Binding rate of Positive control＜50%.
